My Former Boss

I have a new boss, but my former boss is so funny.  After sending my former boss an email of some work I did earlier this year, he replied:

-----
To: <me>
From: <former boss>
Subject: RE: <info>

U da man!!

That is just priceless.

So Fast

Life happens in the blink of an eye.  On Monday, I was complaining about my job and obsessed with my workout plan and then on Thursday, I'm on my knees in front of the toilet, my thighs are thoroughly sore, and I'm desperately hoping my system will be flushed soon.

The sad thing is, I'll forget what happened these past few days and then continue on with my life as if I didn't know any better.  Life can be so fleeting.

I'm thankful for my immune system, an extremely loving mother, and for friends who care to check up on how I'm doing, all of which are gifts from the Gift-Giver.

Got 'em

Today marks the day that I have successfully used "aka" at work.

I'm surprised at how long it has taken me to use it; although I hate to admit it, "i.e." works much better in most of the situations where I would prefer to use "aka".

See ya aka bye.

Interactions with my co-workers

I have some cool co-workers.  One of them is actually really chill, and plays the drums in a band on the weekends.  Another snippet of online conversation:

[Me] [1:03 PM]: cool, just got your email, thanks
[My co-worker] [1:03PM]: Groovy!  ok

The xanga smiley with the sunglasses is a little more subdued than the one in our messaging system.  It actually looks more like a :D with sunglasses.
